Strategic Documents of the city
Slupsk City Development Strategy for the years 2007-2015 was adopted by the City Council in Slupsk, Poland on 25 June 2008 Resolution No. XXIV/342/08. The requirement of a strategy by the City of Slupsk is clear from the Act of 6 December 2006 on the principles of development policy, which specifies that the policy development at the local level by county and municipal government [Chapter I, Art. 3], and the basis for carrying out this policy are local development strategies, including strategies for municipal development [Chapter II, Art. 9].
Developed strategy lays down the areas of development, such as:
1 Technical Infrastructure;
2 Social infrastructure;
3 Land use;
4 Human resource development and entrepreneurship;
5 Culture and cultural heritage;
6 Environment,
7 Redevelopment of the city;
8 Housing;
9 Sport, recreation and tourism;
10 International cooperation and promotion of the City of Slupsk;
That is crucial in the development of the City of Slupsk, in contacts with potential investors and the search for external funds, including the EU, to co-finance the development of civilization Town. Developed strategy puts emphasis on modernizing the city, increase its economic potential, a further improvement in social infrastructure and technical and, above all, to raise the quality of life for inhabitant’s and reducing unemployment by creating new jobs.
